In early May of 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to the stunning South Island of New Zealand for a 5-day adventure alongside Bruce Hunnicutt and JR Hossack. Meeting up at Christchurch Airport, we embarked on a road trip south to our outfitter’s lodge—a perfect starting point for what would become an unforgettable hunting expedition. From our base, we set out on foot to conquer the rugged, majestic mountains that New Zealand is known for.

2017 season, I had the privilege of hunting whitetail with Bruce Hunnicutt, an experienced and passionate outfitter in East Texas. Armed with my trusty Mathews bow, I was fortunate to harvest a beautiful East Texas buck—a moment that never fails to take my breath away.
